Overview
Nail disorders include ingrown toenails, oncomycosis (nail fungus), yellowing, brittlness,
ridging (lateral lines), striation (vertical lines), softness, thickening, and pale nail-beds.
Etiology
Hypothyrodism is often associated with various nail disorders [Starr2005, pg 114].
