Raynaud's Disease is a primary disease that causes episodic spasm of the small blood vessels (arterioles) of the fingers, toes, ears, and nose. Raynaud's Phenomena has similar presentation, but is secondary to another disease process, such as scleroderma or rheumatoid arthritis.
