Lasegue Sitting Test (Tripod Test)

Test Overview

In the Sitting Lasegue Test, the patient is in sitting position, and is asked to extend each leg one at a time. The test is positive if pain is reported to be elicited in the sciatic trajectory when either leg is extended [Gear2009].
